I have recently found out that my links no longer works because of an update issue (which means I have to personally and manually share links with those who wants to download my vst:s). Since I have been flooded with requests as of late, I simply cannot keep up with doing this manually since I am busy doing other things in life.

However, I have decided to open a dropbox-account or similar to try to accomodate for this, when I find the time to put all my material in there.

New year, New post, New synth…


Hi, there!
Time for a new post which this time contains a new Virtual Analog synth for you to try out.
Its named MiniMono VSTi (no Awards for imaginative name for me...)
It´s basically a tiny Monosynth with not so small possibilities.




Basic info:

1 Voice of Polyphony (with Portamento Controls).




1 Oscillator (VCO) with 5 standard waveforms, backed up with a Sub-oscillator. The Sub-Oscillator can perform simple FM dutys on both the VCO as well as the Filter.
All Oscillators (including the LFO) can be set to be free running.




1 LFO with the same 5 Waveforms + Noise and Sample and Hold. It can Control 6 destinations simultaniously.




1 ADSR Envelope Controls both Amplitude, Filter Cutoff and VCO modulation. The Amplitude can be set to Gated while the custom curve then Controls the modulation. The envelope is Velocity sensitive which can be set with a knob.




1 Filter with 5 filtertypes and standard Controls (the Modwheel can be used to modulate the Cutoff).




1 Delay with 2 delay-types.




1 Main section with Patch-manager, Main Pan and Main Volume Controls.




There are 32 included Patches, but with room for many more if you create your own.


The VSTi comes in both .dll (plugin) and .exe (Standalone) versions for Windows 32bit only.

Hello everyone! Two more products for you to use and abuse!


Today is the official PTSD awareness day (for some reason), and in honour to the men and women who suffer from PTSD, whether it is caused by horrific war-related experiences or caused by accidents or other traumatic situations, I hereby release two products I´ve been working on for some time (one I started working on in early 2018 and the other in the beginning of February this year) .


The first reason it has taken more time than I first expected, is that the Virtual Analogue synth called Einherjer VSTi demanded that I took my time to make good and plenty of Patches for it which  my time did not quite allow. Then, since there are so many Components inside that needs to be in perfect harmony with everything else, I found some minor but enervating mistakes along the way.


Now everything should be working as they are planned at least…


The second reason is that my new Guitar amp was christened P.T.S.D VST and I searched google for a good time to release it and found that this day was the right one, for obvious reasons!


So there you have it. Download and enjoy!

They have done it again!

EngraveD VST (BUZZ HM-2 clone)


Hello there!


I decided the other day to make a clone of my own BUZZ HM-2 plugin. Since there are hardware clones out on the market based on the real HM-2 pedal, I thought it made sense to create one of my own.


 It´s simpler than BUZZ Hm-2 in that it has only two controls: A Level knob and a Power switch.

The sound is very similar to the original plugin but the inner workings has been reworked (such as the distortion and EQ-curve) which results in a slightly different sound (which might be good if you want the Left and Right channels to sound more like there are two guitarists playing the same part).

New guitar amp VST


Hello, Amigos!


I´ve got a new Guitar-amp VST for you to try out.


Its called R.I.P.P.E.R and is meant to sound the way it looks, a bit broken, worn and torn.

I guess you can say it has got some personality.


There are some re-visits inside (a quirky version of the distortion from Buzz HM2 is optionally switched on with the R.I.P- switch) and some overhauled pieces from earlier plugins.


The EQ-section had to be reworked to accomodate the above mentioned Buzz inclusion, so that it more closely can be made to imitate the special EQ-curve in the pedal itself (try out the presets "Death´n Roll", "Sunlight" or "Bloodbath" to see what I mean.


Please notice that it is NOT meant to be a very versatile "for every genre" type amp, but rather a dirty, filthy Metal-amp with character.
Sometimes an ugly sound is the right sound, if you know what I mean?

Its closing in on my birthday so in keeping with a Swedish tradition (where someone who has a birthday buys a birthday cake for his friends, family and co-workers), I hereby post a new goodie for you all.


I recently found myself missing one of our recently fallen heroes so damn much, that I felt I wanted to commemorate him with a VST of his own.

In short, here is a tribute to Ian Lemmy Kilmister in the form of a Bass-amp (not to be seen as an emulation of his rig, but merely as a tribute) which lends its name, somewhat rearranged, to him.

It is based on my work with "Plu-Tone" but has some rework done and also some extra thingumajigs in and outside that I felt could be useful.


If you can´t get a good bass-sound out of this, I cant help you anymore (so find something else…).

Hello, dear friends.

Have you ever recorded a guitar-track and wanted to duplicate it so that you can hard-pan left
and right, just to later fiddle around for several minutes with the timing of the duplicated track to find the sweet-spot in milliseconds where it sounds like two different guitar-takes?




This plugin does only that one thing: it delays the incoming signal with the set amount of milliseconds.




Good settings usually lie between 15ms - 25ms, but for experimentations sake,
the knob goes up to 50ms.




Preferably, place this plugin first in the effects-chain of the duplicated track
(or elsewhere in the chain for experimentation). 

The available controls are:
1 Bypass switch
1 Knob for adjusting the delay in milliseconds as shown in the display.

It has recently come to my attention that some users has had issues with Buzz HM-2 when used within the Reaper DAW. They say that it will not show up in the plugin-list or that it wont run.
I have not had any such problems myself, but feel obligated to try and fix this.

So I hereby post a link with a version I know works (since I have it up and running in Reaper as we speak).

Early Christmas gift!

Ho,ho,ho!




Santa Claus is coming early this year pouring sweet stuff out of his sack (...ew!).




This time I share with you my absolutely first published Guitar-Amp combo!!
I call it Planetary Gain because of the names I´ve chosen for both amps in the combo.
The VST has two amps in one to switch between.


The aim was to see if I could make my own guitar amp, and it seems I could make something I find useful and fun, and I´m quite proud of it myself.


Here are some screenshots:

The top-most amp needs little imagination as to what amp it might try to replicate, however there is no one real model of the amp it relates to.

The next one does´nt really attempt to replicate any real amp whatsoever even if there is inspiration in some internal and external parts relating to amps with its first name initial letter "M" and surname initial letter "B". 

All further instructions needed are included in the download.


As this is my first real attempt to model a functioning Guitar-amp (not to mention 2 at the same time), I ask you to bare with me in case you find it lacking in terms of quality (which I hope it will not).

Guitar Rig settings for a HM2 like result!

Hello again.


I´ve found some time to post again (I am quite bad at visiting this blog regularily).


This time I will post an example of my own endeavors to sculpt a HM2 like sound using Guitar Rig.
I´ve chosen to post screenshots of my setup which I think comes fairly close to the Chainsaw sound we all love or dread.


BTW, please notice the big red Arrows on the pics as the settings they mark out might get overlooked but are quite important to the overall sound.


Most important however is the dual setup if the distortions (the yellow ds-1 and the fuzz), and the EQ-settings in pic 2. The first spike at 88Hz as well as the last spike at approximately 1000Hz to 1200Hz are the most important, but the deep dip at ca 300hz is almost as important since this will emphasize the "nasality" of the sound.


Bear in mind that this setup is quite noisy, so the noise-gate is probably essential (my settings are average at best).

I´ve compiled a new post for you to honour the 9/11 anniversary.
It is comprised of 2 plugins that both attempts to emulate the Boss HM-2 pedal.


I recently managed to buy a genuine HM-2 pedal which to my surprise showed me that my earlier attempts may not have been so close soundwise as I previously thought.


So, I had to rethink and push myself even further in my quest to truly approach the Buzzsaw sound.
If you have downloaded the Buzz Helvetes Metal HM-2 in previous post, please ditch them and download the new version as this one comes EXTREMELY Close (I kid you not!).


You will NOT find another free and as easy way to reach that early 90:ies Swedish deathmetal sound!


In this post I´ve also included sound-files where you can hear a comparison between the real deal and Buzz Helvetes Metal HM-2.




The other post is called "Instant Buzzsaw" which does what its name says. Together with a suitable amp and cab it will give you a Buzzsaw-sound with the turn of a knob.

Buzz HM-2 sound preview

Here is a preview video of how the Buzz HM-2 plugin sounds.


The song in question is a very short cover-version of Entombed:s song "Demon", which was featured on the "Wolverine Blues" album.


The first part plays the "plugin-only" version without any other effects (i.e. NO amp-simulation, NO cab, NO reverb, NO compressor) in mono.


The second part (at 00:46) follows the same criteria as above, only recorded twice and panned hard Left and Right.


The third part (at 1:32) plays a short mixdown I´ve made showing how the plugin will sound during a mix-situation.
Bass (recorded by me using the free Bass Preamp v.1 by RonaldsPassion) and self-programmed drums (Addictive Drums by XLN-audio) has been added.
Also added are some mastering-effects, Eq and a master Reverb on the Main-out channel.
The guitars use the same recordings as above but has two more (free) effect instances added to each of them: HyBrit by LePou and
Mercuriall Cab v3.0 by Mercuriall, tweaked to taste.

I have recently reworked Kross SwM-2 a bit and felt I owed it to myself and to you to publish it.
It has been overhauled and stripped of unnecessary stuff inside so it is a bit smaller and slicker.
The sound of the pedal is basically the same as before, perhaps a bit better actually!


The plugin is now also renamed and is called: Buzz Helvetes Metal HM-2.
"Helvete" is Swedish for "Hell", so "Helvetes Metal" could mean "Metal from Hell" or "a Hell of a lot of Metal", which sums the pedals reputation up pretty nicely, I think.


In this post i have also included a standalone version of it for anyone needing such a plugin.

I started making a "go-to" distortion-plugin for my own uses and felt quite satisfied with it. However, when it was done, I started making a follow up with a few other things I thought was handy.

I am currently only releasing my plugins in VST 32bit format so please make sure you notice this before downloading.


My first offering is an exclusive freeware plugin never before released as freeware by anyone!


KROSS Swede Metal SwM-2


It is based on (but not an exact clone of) the BOSS HM-2 distortion pedal which was made legendary by Swedish Death-Metal bands such as Entombed and Dismember in the early 1990:s. This pedal was almost entirely responsible for the Buzz-saw sound of Sunlight studios. The way the pedal was used then (and in my oppinion should be used) was to "dime out" all knobs (everything on max) which creates a very brutal guitar sound. Together with heavily downtuned guitars (B or C) the sound is crushing and murderous.

This VST is NOT an exact replica, clone nor do I claim it to be, but the sound is very close (in my oppinion) and I use it myself in my own DM songs.
